Start by viewing an image or movie from the menu.

The globe can be tilted by dragging on it. The icons allow you to

return to the home position,
rotate normally,
rotate reverse,
pause/resume a movie,
and stop a movie.

Multiple clicks on a rotation icon will speed up the rotation rate. You can find positions by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on the sphere; the latitude and longitude show up in the top bar.

To just view an equirectangular image or movie from the web, you can type the URL here prefixed with @ . The http:// can be left out.
